FAQ
Landlord insurance FAQ
Binder rules, service-area states, consent, and what this site does — and does not — quote.
Is a quote a binder?
No. Coverage exists only when a carrier issues confirmation according to its rules and the policy forms it issues.
Which states can request a quote?
This site is for landlord and rental-property insurance quote requests in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, Arkansas, Arizona, South Dakota, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Indiana.
How fast will you contact me?
We contact you as soon as possible after a complete quote request. It can take 1–2 business days.
What if my request is outside your markets?
If a product or class is outside our appetite or the markets we place, we may refer your request to a partner or affiliate agency or brokerage when you have consented on the form.
Do you sell personal auto or owner-occupant homeowners here?
No. This site is for USA landlord and rental dwelling insurance — dwelling/landlord forms, landlord liability, loss of rents, and related rental-property coverages.
Is a detailed rental description required?
No — the description field is optional. Sharing occupancy, unit count context, construction, lease status, vacancy, and how the property is used still helps underwriting when you can.
Who will contact me?
The consent checkbox names Business Insurance Brokers LLC. Partner or affiliate firms may contact you only when you have consented to referral sharing.
Is tenants renters insurance the same as landlord insurance?
No. Tenants insurance covers a renter’s belongings and liability. Landlord insurance focuses on the building, landlord liability, and related rental-property coverages.
